Meredith Cohen is one of only 15 Family Mediators in the State of Florida {and 740 nationally) approved by the ASSOCIATION OF CONFLICT RESOLUTION as a Practioner Member (the highest level, based on training and experience).
Meredith is one of only 65 Florida Supreme court certified family Mediators awarded Diplomate membership status in the 1,000 member Florida Academy of Professional Mediators.
Meredith served for three years as a Director of the oldest mediation organization in Florida, the Florida Association of Family Mediators, and he recently served as Vice President of the largest organization of mediators in the state, The Florida Academy of Professional Mediators.
Meredith has presented his advanced training for family mediators in Pro Se Divorce Mediation (mediation for divorcing couples without attorneys) in Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale, Tampa, Ft. Myers, and Miami on 12 occasions.
Meredith is certified by the United States Postal Service as a mediator for workplace discrimination claims. He has mediated over 50 such cases.
Meredith as a contract mediator for Orange County, Florida, has mediated over 1000 Court-ordered divorce mediations.
Meredith is a panel arbitrator for the National Arbitration Forum.
Meredith has over 30 years of legal experience and has conducted more than 2,000 successful mediations.
